Guidelines to Start Sports Career 

Sometimes you just want to start something but you don't know how to. One example is engaging you into a sport. You know that sport is good for your body because you will be able to burn calories or fats from the food you eat. You also know that having a sport can help you stay away from vices like alcoholic drinks, drugs or any unhealthy addiction. Most of all you know that sport can give you new set of friends with the same interest - friends that you can rely and learn with in terms of different techniques both in sports and life itself.  However, despite knowing all these things, sometimes what people don't know is how to start entering a sport that they like. So here are some guidelines or tips that will help you get your foot on the court. 
1. Know what sports you like - sometimes knowing that you like to have a sport is not enough to get you starting. You have to know what sport exactly you want to enter. Do you like to play against tall guys fighting for the ball and shooting it from any area of the court then basketball is for you. While if you are the type who wants a relaxing sport that will still keep your mind working in terms of strategy and right timing, then golf is the best sport for you. To be able to start your sports career p, you have to be sure of the sport that you like best. 
2.  Practice - you can then start to practice. You have to learn the skills of a professional basketball player. Practice your shots, your dribbling skills and prepare your stamina for long game. You can do the same in whatever sport you have chosen. Practice, practice and another practice can help you cope up and keep up your energy.  You can also ask friends or family members to play with you or watch you so you have someone to critique you. 
3.  Start attending try-outs- usually there high school sports team wherein you can start to try out. This is great because in such a young age you are developing the desire to make the sport as your career. Do everything you can to be included in a team where you can contribute and learn from. In the long run, you will realize that starting early is really big help for you. 
4. Start buying sports equipment - now the exciting part is buying things that you will use in your game. When your dad said he will be buying cart accessories and golf cart parts maybe you can ask if you can join so you can buy your own things. Your dad will surely be proud of you and proud to buy things that you need. 
5.  Continue learning - now when you are already part of a team and even win a championship the next thing you have to do is continue learning. Do not be complacent with the things that you learned. Continue to strive hard to be the best that you can be because there will always be better players along the way so you must be able to show that you can be a great competition for them.  
Playing sport much more having a career in sport can be very rewarding so just be patient and you will surely reap the fruits of your labor when the right time comes. For the mean time, learning how to start is really important.
